A Certificate of Good standing is a document, from the state in which you formed your corporation or LLC, which confirms that your entity is in good standing. Typically, this proves that you have paid your necessary annual state fees and your tax payments are up to date. A Certificate of Good Standing is necessary when registering a foreign entity. It's also sometimes needed in connection with opening a business bank account. We can obtain a Certificate of Good Standing, via courier, from the Secretary of State.
