01Why LawInc

Attorney-led formationfor your nursing practice.

Your LawInc attorney reviews your planned nursing services, license and proposed names before filing. We then prepare your corporate records and handle the initial filings for one flat fee.

Your formation is led by Zach Javdan, LawInc’s founding attorney, licensed in California since 2002.

  1. 01Your proposed services reviewed.

The attorney confirms that a nursing corporation is the right entity for the nursing services you describe. Forming a corporation does not expand what your nursing license allows.

  2. 02Your license and names checked.

The attorney confirms that you may own a nursing corporation and reviews your corporate and practice names before the Articles are filed.

  3. 03Your corporate records prepared.

You receive bylaws, organizational minutes, share documents, a stock certificate and a stock ledger. We also file the Articles, the Statement of Information and the applicable securities notice, and obtain the EIN.

  4. 04Direct access to your attorney.

Questions about your planned services, ownership or practice name go to the attorney forming your corporation. The founding attorney takes the call.

03What the attorney reviews

Before we formyour nursing corporation.

Before the Articles are filed, the attorney reviews three things with you.

  1. 01The services you plan to provide.

This formation is for a corporation that provides nursing services within your license. Call before you order if the business will not provide nursing services (consulting, education or a staffing agency, for example) or will offer aesthetics, IV therapy, weight-loss care or services by other licensed professionals. This formation does not cover those questions.

  2. 02Your license and ownership.

The standard $2,495 service is for registered nurses with active California licenses. Customized or nonstandard matters may require attorney review and separate pricing. Allied or mixed-license, entity, trust or out-of-state ownership requires attorney review before ordering. Nonstandard ownership or equity is not automatically accepted. The attorney also confirms who may serve as a director or officer.

  3. 03Your corporate and practice names.

The corporation’s name, and any name it practices under, must include “nursing” or “registered nursing” plus wording that shows it is a corporation. The attorney checks your proposed names against that rule.

Nurse practitioner? Your NP category and proposed practice setting matter before you form a nursing corporation, and NP practice-authority work is not part of this formation. Call before you order: (310) 765-2525.
